Beyond his leadership and service, Brian Christopher brings a unique creative energy that elevates the mood of the room. From getting his hands dirty rebuilding speakers to stepping behind the soundboard, his technical expertise is a massive blessing. And, of course, our services wouldn’t be the same without his iconic deep voice. Whether he is delivering powerful, professional voice-overs or bringing his unmistakable presence to the stage to help with announcements, he engages our congregation in a way only he can.
Brian, we are incredibly grateful for the energy, passion, and faith you bring to Hollywood Blvd Baptist Church. You don’t just serve our community; you strengthen it, inspire it, and protect it. Jim & Susie Horne
Honoring Over Four Decades of Faithfulness: Jim & Susie Horne
Since 1975, Jim and Susie Horne have answered a clear and profound call to global missions. Leaving behind the familiar, they stepped out in faith to bring the hope of the Gospel, practical relief, and sustainable community development to the mission field.
Over the course of their ministry, Jim and Susie have poured their hearts into holistic ministry—understanding that meeting spiritual needs goes hand-in-hand with relieving physical suffering. Through their dedication, thousands of lives have been radically transformed. Their ministry footprint includes:

Church Planting & Leadership: Establishing thriving local churches and founding a Bible Institute to equip national pastors and church planters to carry the torch of the Gospel to their own people.

Education & Youth Outreach: Starting primary schools providing quality education and biblical foundations for children who otherwise would lack access to schooling.

Compassion Ministries: Partnering with nutritional feeding centers, building medical clinics, and drilling clean water wells to bring physical healing and essential resources to underserved communities.
Jim and Susie raised their three children on the mission field, and today they celebrate the added blessing of grown children and grandchildren who continue their legacy of faith. Even as ministries transition into the hands of capable local leadership, the Hornes remain actively committed to the next phase of the work God has called them to finish.
