WELCOME TO HBBC!

It’s no accident you’re here today! God has a special word just for you, and it can come in many ways—through the message, a verse in a song, or even a simple word of encouragement from someone nearby.

Whether you’re visiting for the first time or returning, it’s truly our honor to have you with us. We hope you’ll join us in praising and worshiping our Lord.

Welcome, First-Time Visitors!

We’re so glad you’re here! If this is your first time visiting HBBC, please take a moment to fill out a Connection Card. You can find these cards and drop them off at our Welcome Station.

Share Your Prayer Requests

We believe in the power of prayer. Feel free to list any special prayer requests on the back of your Connection Card. You can also submit prayer requests online. For a more personal touch, we have a prayer box located by the main door in the foyer where you can leave your requests.

A Special Gift for You!

As a warm welcome and a thank you for joining us, we have a special gift for all our first-time visitors. Please be sure to pick yours up before you leave!

We hope you have a wonderful experience with us.

Isn’t it wonderful to know you’re never navigating life’s challenges by yourself? God has gifted us with an incredible community of believers who understand the ups and downs of daily life. That’s the essence of what church means! It’s amazing to be part of something so encouraging and supportive.

If you’re looking for a place where you can connect, grow, and truly belong, HBBC is ready to welcome you. Come on over and become part of our family!

We have several elderly, shut-ins and members that need our care and support. A visit, phone call, or a card of encouragement would be appreciated!

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO A PART IN MAKING OUR 2025 PUMPKIN PATCH A SUCCESS!!!

Attitude of Gratitude

Kathryn “Kat” Pace

Attitude of Gratitude: Honoring Kat Pace

This week, we shine our Attitude of Gratitude spotlight on an individual who is truly the heart and soul of our Worship team and our Hollywood Blvd Baptist Church family: Kathryn “Kat” Pace. For as long as most of us can remember, Kat has blessed us with her dedication as our pianist, a talent that elevates every service and connects us to God through music. As a lifelong member of our church, her commitment runs deep, a testament to her faith and her love for this community. We are incredibly thankful for her enduring presence, her beautiful musical gift, and the consistent, comforting sound of her piano that has been the backdrop to countless moments in our shared journey of faith.

Beyond the music, Kat embodies what it means to be an amazing Christian woman through and through. Even with a busy professional life and the full-time role of being a Mom to Khloe, she is always willing to lend a helping hand wherever it’s needed—demonstrating a spirit of service that inspires us all. She navigates the demands of life with grace, showing us all how to maintain a resilient faith, even on the darkest days. It’s impossible not to be uplifted by her presence; her smile lights up a room, and her laugh is truly contagious. She is, without a doubt, one of the nicest and most genuinely caring people you will ever meet.

Finally, as we celebrate Kat’s spiritual gifts and her remarkable character, let’s also celebrate her incredible discipline and athletic achievements! Kat is a marathon runner, and as she is training every day, she has a marathon coming up very soon. This pursuit of physical excellence mirrors her commitment in all areas of life. Let’s make sure to show our overwhelming support and cheer her on as she takes on her next race! Thank you, Kat, for your faith, your music, your service, and your shining example. Your church family loves you and is profoundly grateful for you.

MISSIONARY OF THE MONTH

We will get to know our missionaries so we can better pray for them and support them.

Our November Missionaries are

Kenneth and Valerie Balootje

Sowing for Eternity

Dominican Republic

Kenneth and Valerie Balootje have served the Dominican Republic since 1994. In 2014, they founded Sowing For Eternity with a passion to evangelize and disciple those who live in the DR. Kenneth has a heart for the lost, and is relentless in sharing the gospel. He has partnered with churches around the globe to live out the Great Commission. Sowing for Eternity has the passion and vision to reach the Dominican Republic, the Caribbean and beyond with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our holistic approach to helping people move from brokenness to wholeness includes: evangelism and discipleship, church planting, training leaders within the church, and supporting the local church to start the cycle again.

SPECIAL NOTE FROM THE HBBC SECURITY TEAM

Security Protocol

For the safety and security of our congregation, both church entrances will be locked 10 minutes after the commencement of all services. During this time, our security personnel will conduct patrols of the property, ensuring all doors are secure and monitoring the safety of children within the Children’s Building. The doors to the Children’s Building will also be secured.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the men who volunteer their time and service to our security team. Your dedication is invaluable. We also wish to send a special thank you to Wally Hammond for heading the security team.

We are currently seeking additional volunteers to join our security team. If you are able to assist in this vital role, please speak with Pastor Jonny.
