We know that your first visit to any church comes with lots of questions, so we have tried to answer some of them here. If you would like to talk with us in person, or if you have any questions that are not answered here, please feel free to contact us. What to Expect on Sunday. . . Sunday Morning Hollywood offers worship services every Sunday morning at 10:30 AM. Senior Adult Bible Study is at 9:30 AM. There is also a fantastic children’s program, “Zoo Zone” that is meeting during the 10:30 Worship Services. Sunday Evenings On Sunday evenings, our Small Group Classes meet. It is a relaxed atmosphere to meet and get connected with others. After completion of seasonal class study, there will be a break-time for services to meet back in the Auditorium. What Do I Wear. . . Each Sunday, you will find people wearing a range of clothing from suits to jeans. The important thing to remember about what you decide to wear on Sunday is to be who you are. In the Parking Lot. . . There are plenty of Visitor Parking Spaces located on the Chestnut side of the Auditorium. There are also Senior Adult Parking in the front parking lot. It is also suitable to park in the Tire Store Parking lot, Friendly Florist, Killingsworth lot, and the Shopping Plaza. We have secured permissions from all these businesses. As You Enter The Main Auditorium. . . As you enter, you will be greeted by one of our members. They will be able to assist you with any questions you might have. CHILDCARE At HBBC, we LOVE children! That’s why we’ve made it top-priority to provide quality, high energy and fun programming and events for each child. Committed workers come prepared to help your children, ages birth to fifth grade, experience God’s love through age-appropriate Bible study, and hands-on learning experiences. MUSIC Here at HBBC, the musical aspect of worship is a great blend of upbeat and worshipful praise songs to the rich hymns of old. We love new songs and the old. We want the music to emphasize the theme of the message and touch the heart preparing it to receive the teaching of God’s Word. HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER At the end of each service, an open invitation is given to those who wish to make a decision to join Hollywood Baptist, receive Christ, make a new commitment or have a special need of prayer. During this invitation, simple come forward and one of our trained counselors will meet you and help you with any necessary information. Hollywood Baptist accepts members in the following ways:
- By receiving Christ as your Savior and Lord, and obeying Him through Christian baptism
- By transfer of membership from another church (having been saved and baptized previously)
- By statement of your Christian faith, you may join us if you are already a Christian, coming from another denomination or having no prior church membership, and you have been baptized by immersion as a symbol of our salvation
